"Ah." Rolan nodded his head in understanding. Yeah, he could see cooking coming into handy. It was hard not to take notice of Jaden running around the track like a mad man. With all that energy... he was sure to need more than a few outlets, not to mention how much he'd have to eat to keep up with it.
He then smiled a bit, less strained. Yeah, he had an idea Mao was an oddity among many people at their school. He just stuck out so much, which was part of how he'd caught Rolan's eyes. That and his dancing. Rolan had always admired dancers, since he'd never learned to do so himself. Then there was how small and slight Mao was as well... He ducked his head a bit, shaking it. Not the time to think of things like that, considering.
He then glanced back over to Jaden, arms crossing over his chest. "I've gotten drunk at parties before and never made out with people because of it. So no, it wasn't just because I was drunk." No, only the dancing was. Or, rather, his attempt at dancing.
