She reached forward and plucked a wine cooler out of the cooler near him. She wasn't going to finish it. It was mostly for something to do, something to focus on, instead of standing up and punching this kid in the face. She really had nothing against him. He was clearly bitter that she had money, or something. But that wasn't her fault. He didn't know her, or anything about what made her happy. Not riding the subway had nothing to do with it.
