Aaron was half enjoying the alone time and half wishing that Annie was coming back to get him into more trouble with her drunk antics. He didn't see her drunk all too often, and tonight had been a rare treat. Too bad she'd given that poor college kid an unwelcome beer shower. He was hardly more inebriated now than he had been earlier. Certainly not drunk enough to endure more of Rielle. Hadn't she tortured him enough at his mom's salon? At least the icy greeting let him know that the feeling was mutual. He gave even less of a greeting in the form of a grunt and a nod. He wasn't going anywhere, though. This was his balcony. Well, not his, but he'd claimed it early in the night, and by the laws of parties it was his or something like that.
He noticed the grin on her face and leaned backwards over the rail he was leaning on to follow her gaze. So that's where that noise was coming from. He snorted, "Wow. Didn't take you for the voyeuristic type."
