Jaden had never been to a party like this before. The only ones he had ever been to were ones hosted by his family. Those weren't really fun; in fact, he usually opted out after a few minutes. This was going to be his first, not completely honest to his parents about where he was going, party. He probably was still not going to drink, but that was more a safety issue. He didn't know exactly how being drunk felt, but he had heard that you lose control of yourself. He had the feeling that him getting drunk could very well mean crashing into a wall at 300 mph. That didn't sound like fun.
The party had been a new experience to say the least. He enjoyed the band, but he had managed to stay mostly hidden for most of the night. Truth be told, he was sort of in a sensory overload type of situation. He wanted the experience, but he really had no idea how to act now. So he had just hung out in the corner eating some stale chips.
