"As I tell my customers," Elliot began with the look of what she believed would suit some high priced fashion designer, "The clothes don't make the woman, the woman makes the clothes." She smiled then laughed. She didn't really tell customers that. Truth be told, she typically just took something out of customers hands and replaced it with something that would actually look good on them. She was lucky that she was good enough at picking the best outfits for people that no one ever wanted to complain.
"I'm definitely putting that one in the hiding place," she concluded.
