Camden had seen many things in his time in New York. Some of these things were considerably more disturbing than others, some much more brilliant, more exciting- you get the general idea. And although he had seen some extremely bizarre things, sometimes it was the simplest things that struck him as the most odd: like a girl walking into a club in perfectly respectable clothing... minus shoes.
Now, he had seen plenty of women leave with their shoes in their hands, but to show up without them at all? And she didn't look nearly drunk enough to have lost them earlier in the evening.
Camden's curiosity was peaked, and he eased over to the girl with a quirked brow. "Did you forget something tonight?" he asked, gaze pointedly dropping to her bare feet.
