She hadn't necessarily forgotten. It was a part of who Tino was as a person, just as her vision was for her, but perhaps because she'd learned to love him for so long or perhaps because she just assumed there was a baseline of respect you just didn't cross over, it had never occurred to Mia that Tino might use his powers on her.
Apparently she was wrong about that much.
As the boys went up to the door, his hand was on hers, but... she didn't exactly want to pull it away. The thought had been there momentarily, but it was gone as quickly as it had started. His hand was warm, strong, familiar. It felt so nice there, so right.
She turned to look at him and a small smile formed as she took in the sight of him, lips curling up at the corners as she gave him an unabashed once over. You know, some people could just pull off that slouchy, unaffected look. And even though she was pretty sure she hadn't liked the beard earlier, it was definitely growing on her now. She felt an overwhelming urge to touch it, she suddenly realized. Or maybe that was just a want to touch him in general.
Or kiss him. Maybe it was just that she wanted to kiss him. Her gaze had shifted back up to meet his, and she felt a little dazed as their eyes locked. She had missed moments like this so much. She missed looking at him like this, wanting him like this, and she didn't think to question why it was that she was missing it in the first place as she stepped closer to him.
