Until the moment she opened the door, he had not formed a real idea of just how much he'dactually missed her, but he was feeling just prickly enough not to make a big deal about it. "Hey," he replied nonchalantly, breezing into the apartment. The part of him that wasn't totally hurt by the whole experience wanted to pull her into a bear hug and kiss her like he hadn't seen her in forever--which he practically hadn't. But, the part of him that was totally hurt was feeling standoffish, and so Alice recieved a quick, but not totally cold kiss of greeting. A compromise of sorts, since he couldn't decide how he really felt.
He gave her a clinical once over, but obviously couldn't tell what sh'd hurt while she was just standing there, "Have you been icing?" He asked, getting down to business right away.
