Who: Tino and Mia
What: End.
When: Wednesday night
Where: Their house
Rating: PG-13+
There were sounds in my head
Little voices whispering
That I should go and this should end
Mia had come home from work early to pack up her things. She liked to think she'd done it so that Tino wouldn't have to go through watching her do it, but honestly, she wasn't sure she would have been able to finish up if he was there to watch her. Even now, as she placed the last of her suitcases in the car, she was seriously doubting her ability to go through with this.
The road she had traveled down with Tino certainly hadn't been easy, but there had been a lot of love in it. But sometimes, love wasn't enough, or that's what it felt like at the moment.
She took in a deep breath as she looked around her home, the place she had raised her boys. She didn't even want to think about what kind of ramifications this split was going to have for them, but was it honestly healthy to have them immersed in all of this tension like they had been? No.
The boys were still with her parents so that they wouldn't have to hear what might transpire (and Mia honestly had no idea what was about to happen), and she was glad for it when she heard the familiar turn of their doorknob that signaled Tino was home.
