Mia took in a deep breath as he traipsed through the house, feeling a lump form in her throat as he referred to himself as 'Daddy'. And he was. He was Daddy and she was Mommy, but Mommy and Daddy weren't doing so well together anymore.
"They're at my parents house," she answered, rising up from the sofa to stand with her hands in her pockets. She soaked in the sight of him for a moment, knowing that this was the last time she'd see him before she hurt him, before he would be so angry and they would go back to their stupid old ways that they'd fought so hard to get out of. Or maybe it would fall into something even worse that she preferred not to think about.
"And ah- I'm going there, too, Tino," she added softly, willing herself to maintain eye contact with him. "I'm... moving out."
