"Miller tastes cheap, that's for sure. Something about the way it's brewed," she replied in agreement. "I know some people say that if it's cheap you can drink more to get drunk, but in my opinion I'd rather spend more on one good drink than a six pack of crap. If it's good, you don't need to drink a quart to get buzzed."
She reached for her beer bottle and took a tentative sip. Nodding her approval, she tipped the bottle to make a note of the label before drinking from it again. "This is good." Her rambles trailed off as she relaxed. She settled on his staring had been primarily the credit of her dress choice for the night, even though she tended to dress modestly, she knew how to emphasize her assets. While naturally slender, her body was far from waifish. The strapless ruched dress emphasized her hourglass figure and toned legs. Once she felt the attention was off of her, Dawn began to let her eyes travel her surroundings, quietly observing not only Caleb but the other patrons of the bar. She smiled when her eyes finally landed back on his, then smirked as he answered her question about the games.
"Oh, if you said pool, I would've suggested you concede to avoid embarrassment," Dawn teased, tipping her beer bottle at him before rising from her bar stool. "But we'll just have to see who is better at darts. I'm not bad at darts myself." Carrying her bottle over to the dart board, she began to pull the darts from the cork. Handing Caleb a set, she asked, "What should we play for, the drink tab or intel?"
