When Oliver finally reached them, Will introduced him to Mallorie. If James was well-mannered, Oliver was the epitome of a gentleman. He also stuck out his hand toward her and gave her the polite and perhaps a little over the top response of, "The pleasure is all mine, ma'am." William raised an amused eyebrow at his oldest and gave him the okay to continue flying his kite before the daylight wore off.
Oliver looked at Mallorie once more before returning to his kite flying. James lingered. "I have two sons and a daughter. Luna. She's the middle child and I believe is off with her mother today for some female bonding time. The boys with the boys and the girls with the girls."
He smiled and tugged James a little closer with a half hug. "Oliver can manipulate wind currents, and James here... James can detect objects by thinking about them. Isn't that right, son?" James looked up at his dad and just nodded.
"I'm not very good at it yet," he said. Will rubbed his shoulder affectionately.
