"Does that mean you brought me cake?" She replied with a small grin. It was difficult to stay in character, but then she wasn't much of an actress either. She took his hand though and gave it a relatively firm shake. Her brothers had been far too big on telling her not to show weakness to anyone. "Or that your father had a fondness for shot squirrels? That just sounds weird though all things considered." That was one of the many reasons she was here though, wasn't it? Then it was also completely possible that they didn't have the same dad at all. That would just have to end up being another search if this was even the right boy to begin with. She tried not to make it too obvious that she was studying him and just trying to find some hint that reminded her of the same face she saw in the mirror every morning.

Part of her wanted to just start asking about this whole thing with ghosts.
