Peeta Mellark Aaron Abel, whose name wasn't quite as creative as his fictional counterpart, tentatively looked around and just sort of walked over to pick up his coffee. He thanked the barista with a nod and just took a sip before looking around the place. It was relatively crowded for a Tuesday, but then, people tended to start falling asleep by this time and needing their caffeine fix to get through the rest of the day. AC wasn't much of a coffee drinker, but he could toss them back just as well as anyone else.
His little stint with the name on his cup had temporarily distracted him from the real reason he was here. And just as the coffee was beginning to jog his memory, he made eye contact with a girl in the back of the coffee house. He pointed to his cup questioningly before grinning and just coming right over to her. "Miss Everdeen?" He shuffled his cup into his left hand and reached out with his right to shake hers. "Peeta Mellark. Nice to meet you. I threw you some bread once, but you probably don't know I exist, so..."
