Sasha nodded. She used the tissue to dry her eyes and remove whatever make up was still on her face. It was a reminder of that place and she wanted to remove every last shred of it. Her hand gave his a squeeze and she silently thanked God for him. She could get through just about anything so long as he was by her side.
"That's just a terrible thing to do to someone, you know? Especially in this economy where everyone is always looking for work." She shrugged. "They promised to pay me even though I didn't do the shoot. But I did show up." She frowned. "I don't even feel like taking their money to be honest."
