Who: Scott and Toby
What: a talk
When: backdated to before Shabbos with Eden and Jack and the whole fam damily.
Where: Toby's bedroom
Rated: tbd

Scott was young once. He was well aware of the trials and tribulations of a teenager. He was even more well aware of the ones associated with crazy or controlling parents. He lived that. It wasn't a pleasant experience, but it did make him a stronger person. And that was the one and only reason Scott didn't mind that Ari was a little strict with their oldest son.

But still. Sometimes, he felt bad for the kid. It was hard to have to abide by certain rules, especially if you didn't necessarily agree with them. Scott wasn't stupid. He knew Toby wasn't happy with Ari's decision to send him to a religious high school. He knew that there was no way that Eden and he were ever going to be anything more than band mates. And he knew all about the band, because he'd gone a few times to see them play. They were good. He enjoyed them. He wished Toby took a more active part with them.

And now, he knew that Toby was seeing a girl that his wife would not approve of. A Catholic girl. It couldn't be easy, hiding something so big from one's mother. Toby wasn't that good of a liar. He was probably panicking at the prospect of having to hide something from Ari. He probably needed some words of encouragement. Enter Scott.

"Hey, Tobes?" Scott knocked lightly on his son's door. He hoped he wasn't intruding. He hoped he could lighten a very dark situation.
