Toby just nodded when she pointed her finger at him. He kbew the rules, but he was also a rebellious teenager. However, he had enough brains to hold his tongue. For now. He'd gather some logical responses and his dad to have his back later. And there would be a later.
He had to grow some sometime. And hey, according to tradition he was technically a man, so he was actually three years late. "Okay." He nodded, "That seems fair. I'll see if this week is okay for her?" He gave his mom a small smile. He was being about as tough on her as she was on him. Maybe she'd raised him right after all. "I'll try. But, I'm a teenager, it's my job, right?" He grinned at her in an adorable fashion. He returned her hug. Even thiugh she could druve him nuts and was super old fashioned, he still loved her. She was still his mom, in spite of everything they didn't agree on.
