When she heard a familiar voice, Molly hit the menu button in the middle of the controller. She looked over to see her best friend standing in the entrance way of the house, holding a cookie tin for her and smiled immediately. The controller was immediately tossed on to the coffee table in front of her and Molly straightened herself up as best as she could with her free arm. "No one wants to take me out. It takes too long to get me even down the front steps, unless dad carries me."
Molly stared at the tin of cookies that Sarah had shaken up and then patted the cushion on the smaller sofa next to the one she was on. "I've seen the light of day. ...I just haven't felt the light of day. Do I get a cookie now?"
