Who: Tino and Mia
When: tonight, probably
What: the talk
Where: their house
Rated: TBD
This was going to be a memorable night. Tino knew that. He'd gone out of his way to find a babysitter for the boys (his mother) and was now putting the finishing touches on dinner. He'd actually made it tonight, not just take out. He figured it'd be somewhat of a diffuser. Mia would be so impressed with him cooking that she wouldn't pay much attention to anything else that he was saying. It seemed like a good plan, and he was confident that it would work. Still, something in the back of his mind was telling him to prepare for a backfire.
So he did.
He'd set the table in their dining room, a place they hardly used for normal family dinners. He'd lit candles and removed the lamps from the various places around the room. Really, anything that could be picked up and thrown at his head within arm's reach was taken and hidden somewhere safe. He wasn't going to take any chances, thank you very much. With the boy's gone, that meant Mia could unleash whatever anger she wanted at him, and he didn't really enjoy the notion of spending the night in the hospital.
With everything done, he sat back on the sofa and waited for her to come home. When he heard her keys in the front door, he switched off the television and stood.
[ooc: hope this is okay?!]
