"The EMF is going crazy."
Alex was about to throw the little whizzing machine in the garbage if it didn't shut up. He dropped a decent amount of money on it for it to malfunction now. They had just gotten there, and it was already acting up. "Stupid thing." He tapped it once and it went silent for a moment before beginning its whizzing and buzzing again, the needle swinging from side to side erratically. "So, either this place is the next party city for our dearly departed friends or some little pipsqueak is messing with our electromagnetic frequencies."
He sighed and turned the machine off, just sliding it back into his bag and glancing over at Dakota. "You got anything over there, Watson?" He shrugged and adjusted his bag on his shoulder. He was sure this place was crawling with specters. There were just too many unexplained noises, bumps, creaks and sightings to say anything otherwise. Plus, the building had its fair share of interesting history. He chuckled a bit as he made sure to keep his materials in order.
"You know, Greg told me that when he grows up he wants to work for the Ministry of Magic. Made me wonder what it would take to get the family to England for a few days just to see what all the fuss is about."
