Jolting out of her stupor at the sight of him walking through the door, Alice offered him a smile, before letting him go order. She took in a breath and returned her book to her purse, taking a small sip of her coffee when he sat down across from her.
"Worried? No." She glanced over at the clock. "Ten minutes isn't really worthy of freaking out." Though it did tell her something about him, namely that he was the kind of person you had to tell to be somewhere fifteen minutes early to get them there on time. "Glad you made it, though."
