"Sansa, leave your brother alone and hold up your sign. Daddy will be here any minute now."
Ethan sighed as he hoisted up Murtagh in his arms. The boy could walk just fine, you know, tottering about and all that, but for Ethan's plan, he would need to be carried. And that meant that Ethan's arm was going to be sore for quite some time. Who knew little Asian boys had such hardy appetites? At only two, Murtagh could probably out-eat his older brother, Logan, if they all weren't careful with their food. Perhaps it had something to do with those clever little energy beams he was able to create out of thin air. Ethan was surprised their house was still standing.
He was more than happy when Neil said he was coming home, even if it was just for a little break. The kids were getting restless without him, and Ethan was only one person to take care of them all. That was why he had developed this brilliant idea. And it was ever so brilliant. He got all the kids up early, much to their protests and fed and dressed them before piling them into the car and hauling them off to the airport. While there, he stood them all in a line (no small feat there) and gave them all a sign with a part of Neil's name on it. Ethan held up COR, Murtagh had NE, Han had LI, Kitty had US, Logan had LO, Tiberius had WE and Sansa had TURNER.
The plan was simple. Hold all the pieces of the sign together and surprise daddy as he was coming over to get his baggage. Ethan would have to crouch to get them all together, but he was standing at the moment, looking over the crowd to see if he could---
"He's coming! Places everyone!" He had no idea Murtagh was holding his upside down or that Logan had drawn a penis on his or that Kitty had hers pointed at herself.
