Dakota was one of those people who wasn't entirely fond of the Bacchus family. Maybe it was one of those things that came with the territory of being a Hopkins. They might not actually be all that bad in terms of people, but even David was old enough that they had never been on a first name basis. As long as he didn't mess with Kota's sisters then there wasn't really much reason to have an issue. Plus when it came to the history of Frye Island, they had been there longer than he had. There was no harm in listening to what he had to say even if it did sound rather pretentious.
He had been heading back afterward to check the piano just off stage of the auditorium. Instead he was getting walked through by one of his freshmen. Dakota just chuckled a little though and made sure he was still in enough light to be seen. "No harm." He was still trying to learn, but his ASL skills were more likely to end up making him "sound" more awkward than not. The best he could do was sign "Silent Night" which was a little awkward in the middle of May.
