"There is probably a list somewhere." David agreed. He quirked an eyebrow at her when she thanked him for the compliment, "You're welcome?" Was that some sort of loaded thank you, or a real one? He couldn't tell with her, and it had been years since he'd seen her, so who knew? "Not that they weren't great before. It's been a few years though. It might be difficult to compare from memory."
He gave a small shrug, "Who knows?" It probably wasn't wise to play the what-if-game. "I guess I'm not too upset with how things ended up." Mostly. "Doesn't sound too bad on your end, though," he smirked, "Exciting, even. I'm sure plenty of people would love to be in your shoes."
