Lucy just wrapped her arms around him, pressing her cheek against his shoulder. There was something distinctly settling about being around Will even if it was him trying to influence her emotions one way or another. Even if she did think she felt the smallest wave of sadness, there were any number of things that it could possibly involve. Their lives were far from being happy. Even their children had been poked and prodded more than she thought was necessary and if they were showing signs, it seemed rather unlikely she was going to report it. This wasn't Twilight where they were just going to be able mirror the special abilities of their parents.
"What about all the stories about the skies being so wide and blue you'd think you were somehow hanging upside down over the oceans? And the horses? And... Geysers?" She loved listening about it, but there was still that tug that kept her wanting to stay close. There was still all of their family there even as fractured as it was on both sides. She slowly let him go, running her hand down his arm just trying to be comforting. "Though this particular area is rather lovely with the sun just on the horizon when everything is dyed more colors than a rainbow."
