Jimmy nodded solemnly, knowing that Fi was right in saying that people were just now realizing how messed up they were. At least she was blunt enough to put it out there; Jimmy wanted to believe in the cause that each side was fighting for, to see the good that could come from each. But that's what got him in the sticky situation he was in right now. "I'll be fine. Worry more about yourself and making it to the next day."
He straightened up and crossed his arms across his chest. "Warning them is up to you. But there are more soldiers coming to the island to replace the ones they lost, within the next few days."
When Fi mentioned that her father had discovered something and killed himself because of that, Jimmy's ears perked up. He was momentarily mad when Fi spoke about her father, saying he was a crazy son of a bitch. "You know you shouldn't talk about him like that. He's your father after all." After scolding her, Jimmy leaned against the wall and continued on with what Fi had been saying. "You mean he actually completed his research? How do you know?"
"You should go visit your mother at least. Pop in for a few seconds or something. It can't hurt to console her for 2 minutes."
