Seth was angry, how could they have been so careless. He knew better, they all knew better, they should have had a plan...always ALWAYS have a plan. But no, he had gotten too cocky, they had broken people out before, it was easy. Stupid, stupid. But he was jut so anxious once he got the information from Shield. They needed this person, he's be useful to the cause. He knew one thing, he didn't want the Government to have him on their side or somehow figure out how to harness his power. The consequences of that happening would be dire.
He pinched the bridge of his nose and he tried to calm himself. But he felt the dip from the scar that ran across his face. That had to be the worst time. He hadn't been thinking clearly...he'd be crazy. They took Gabby...his Gabby. After wasn't good either, they caused her to...those bastards and their tests killed their child. That is why he never had a healer heal his scar. It was a reminder to himself and those around him. They were at war, those they were fighting against had no remorse, they couldn't hesitate in killing them if they had to because if the roles were reversed they wouldn't.
Some of the stress left him when he got to the base and heard a wonderful sound. His son. His Daniel. He smiled at the boy and scooped him up into his arms. Seth's eyes then traveled over to Gabby. This is what he was fighting for, his family, his wife and son. He gave a little nod at he comment and let out a sigh when she kissed him. Not wanting their son to hear he whispered,
"It was bad Gabby, real bad. We lost so many. And Viper...I think she's starting to take it too far."
