Gabby tugged the door closed to the house behind them as she let Seth drag her down the walk way of his parents house. She laughed a little and shook her head at him when he tried to figure out which way her apartment was from his parents' house. "Come on," she said as she tugged him to the right, in the direction of her place. "This way."
Hopefully no one would see the two of them walking around, especially not the police. The last thing she wanted was to get in trouble with them because Seth was clearly drunk and was holding an open bottle of liquor. It wasn't exactly the smartest move on her part to let him bring it with but how else was she supposed to lure him out of his parents' place? Luckily for the two of them, the streets seemed to be empty.
Gabby wasn't a religious person at all but as they rounded the corner to her apartment about five minutes later, she made the sign of the cross and said a small prayer, hoping Seth would be able to make it up the stairs without any problems. There weren't too many stairs but she had walked up them drunk a fair few times and they were a bit tricky. Then again, she was wearing stilettos when attempting it so that might have been the issue. "Come on, Captain. Careful on the stairs," she said as she put her code in for the door and started up the three flights of stairs to her apartment.
