Abby tugged the blanket tighter around herself as her sister started telling her about how she nearly killed a kid. "How can you just shrug something like that off as if it's not a huge deal? You nearly killed a kid..." Abby shook her head disapprovingly. How could something like this happen to their family? How did no one even suspect it had happened? Didn't people ask questions as to why a boy was nearly killed and Mandy got off spot free? Things weren't adding up in Abby's head, so she made a mental note to ask their dad a few questions when she got a chance.
She folded her legs up and hugged them to her chest, her hair falling all around her like it was some sort of security blanket on top of the blanket already encasing her. "Why didn't you tell me before?"
