Morgan just stared at Abby for a minute before she let out that shaky okay. The stern expression in her features faded. Fuck, she had absolutely terrified the girl, but at least she now believed her. The nurturing side that Mandy had wasn't completely dead to Morgan, she was a protector and nurturing people naturally had a protective streak so she made her way over to Abby. She was going to try to hug her but feared that Abby might think she planned to snap her neck or whatever. She did just show her that she could pick up a couch with little trouble.
"Wow, sorry Abs, didn't mean to scare you. It's just this isn't a joking manner, it's super serious and I don't really like if someone brushes me off. You're only the second person who knows. The only other person works with me as Morgan and she really doesn't give a crap, she's somewhat messed up in the head too." Morgan flipped her hair over her shoulder,
"So now that you believe me there are a few guidelines we need to go over. One, Mandy must never know about me, she can't handle it right now, she's not in the right state of mind. She'd have a mental break down and might possible break off into more personalities if she knows. My main purpose it to keep her safe and sane. Part of her sanity is knowing that you're safe. You can never mention me to anyone, not Jack not your dad, no one. I plan on telling Jack soon and you know your dad, he doesn't like to hear that anything is wrong with either of you two. He likes to ignore it and pray that nothing is wrong." She glanced towards the door and flipped open her phone and quickly dialed a number, "hey, it's Morgan, look I can't make it in tonight...I got family stuff...yeah it's serious I wouldn't be calling out if it wasn't fucking serious...okay thanks." She flipped her phone shut, "I canceled my shift tonight so we can talk, you can ask any questions and I'll answer them as best I can. One last thing though, you know that think I did with the couch? Well Mandy doesn't know that we can do that. Once again something she doesn't need to know right now. I might slowly push her in the right direction where she'll discover it on her own."
Morgan slid up the bed to sit next to Abby, "So kiddo, got any questions? I know this must come as a big shock."
