Seth smiled slightly when she pulled back and locked eyes with him. He could see a little battle in her eyes as if deciding whether to go along with it or slap him. He thought he won when she put her hand on his cheek and leaned in for a kiss. He shut his eyes his lips parted slightly. They opened slightly when he felt her stop moving and her fingers stuff something in his pocket. Glancing down it was the money he passed her. He grinner, thinking she meant he didn't have to pay for her company. He knew it. How wrong he was. He felt the sharp zap of her powers then she was gone. If he wasn't angry before he was actually livid now.
Seth glanced across the crowd seeing if he could catch flash of her hair or that ridiculously sparkly dress she wore. He felt two arms circle around him and a pair of hands slide up his chest. He smelt the girls bubblegum scented perfume and heard a voice say,
"Gabby may not want you, but I'll do even more than give you a private show honey. Ignore her, bitch's an ice queen." Seth turned to face her. He turned and recognized her as one of the other dancers at the club. Had he gotten that proposition this time last year he would have jumped at the chance, but now...no...he didn't want just any girl, he wanted Gabby. He pried her arms off of him,
"Not interested," he started to walk off thinking he caught a sight of blond hair.
"She's not going to give you what you want honey, I will." He stopped and turned back to her,
"I've already had it from her," the girl gave him a surprised look and on a final note he said what had been clawing in his head all night, "I'm her boyfriend." Then he made his way across the crowd...apparently the hair he saw was not Gabby's it was some other blond. Cute, but not Gabby. Then out of the corner of his eye he saw her, no doubt about it there was Gabby weaving her way throughout the crowd. He had to smile at this, while most girls were a willing little mouse to him Gabby wasn't. And she brought out a side of him that had laid dormant, the predator side of him, the one who lived for the thrill of the hunt. She wanted to run from him...go for it. He then started slipping through the crowd with a bit more grace than he had earlier. Maybe hide himself from her long enough for him to pounce.
