Abby begrudgingly grabbed the dress she had picked out at the store and slung it over her shoulder. The garbage bag she had thrown it in on a hanger swooshed back and forth as she walked over to Mandy and Jack's apartment from her father's house. She hated stuff like this but it was going to make Mandy happy to see her all dolled up so she gritted her teeth and did it anyway. But heels were where she drew the line. If she wasn't allowed to wear converse, she refused to let Mandy even touch her hair.
She sighed and grabbed the key from under the door mat to their apartment. "Ugh," Abby crinkled her nose at the smell of smoke. It wasn't much but she could tell that someone had been smoking in the apartment or was doing it out on the street at least. With out even announcing that she was there, Abby clambered into Mandy's room and noticed that she was on the back porch. "Really? You're the one smoking?" She tossed the dress on the bed and stared at Mandy sternly, clearly not amused. Did she occasionally forget the cigarettes contained carcinogens and their mother just so happened to die from that sort of thing? Abby sighed and shook her head disapprovingly - wasn't she supposed to be the younger, irresponsible other half of the pair?
"Come on, lets get this over with." Abby immediately started taking off her clothes, not caring if the door was wide open or the blinds were still up.
