Tino had not been stressing about things. He was, in fact, quite the opposite. Though, whether or not that was because of the recreational drug in his hand remained to be seen. He'd bought a dime from James earlier in the day thinking it'd be better to stay home and relax rather than go to the dance and watch Mia try and make him jealous. It was one thing to act cool and collected over the journals when he was positive nothing would come of her date with Andrew, but if he went and allowed her to make a show of it? It would likely end with him getting his lights punched out. For all of his loud obnoxiousness and lack of self control, he could not back it up with his fists. Most of his strength was in his legs, thanks to years and years of soccer practice. And since most people didn't stand still long enough for him to get a kick in, he usually ended up with the brunt of someone else's brute force.
He was nearly half way done with his second bowl when he heard a loud thump on his window. He frowned, blowing smoke sideways. He was on the first floor, so it wasn't unheard of for someone to get to it. But who could it be? He was positive nearly everyone he knew was at the dance, including his mother (who was chaperoning). But obviously, someone, or an animal, was outside. He stood, placing his piece on his side table, and moved towards the offending noise. With a quick hoist of the window, he pushed it up and out of his way. "What the fuck?"
A teddy bear lay on the ground beneath him. A teddy bear that he'd given Mia a year or so ago. With a quirked brow, he looked up. There she was. "Are you vandalizing my house with teddy bears?" His eyes were heavy lidded but he could clearly see how much of a mess she was.
