Jack had decided to relax and take a nice long, hot bubble bath before it was time to start the festivities with her roommate, her roommate's little sister and her own sister. She had soaked for a good hour before getting out of the tub, draining it, and then drying herself off. She spent a few minutes in the mirror combing her hair but didn't stay for too long, just pulling it back with a band. She wrapped her towel around her tightly and then headed back to her bedroom to find her pajamas. A simple, old t-shirt and pajama pants satisfied her attire for the evening and she headed out to the living room.

"Who's ready?" She called to the rest of the house as she sat down on the couch. Jack had been pretty excited this was actually happening. She couldn't remember the last time the four of them had done anything like this.

While Jack was luxuriously bathing Mandy had been slaving away in the kitchen all afternoon. She had promised Abby that she'd make cookies, sugar cookies her favorite, if she came. As always with the promise of cookies she agreed to come. However, she also knew her best friend and roommate would pout at her if she just made cookies for Abby. So in addition to the sugar cookies she made some chocolate chip and a batch of her brownies, which she knew Jack adored.

So when Jack called if everyone else was ready Mandy had just finished putting all the sweets on a big plate and carefully carried it into the living room. "All the baking is done so I'm ready," she placed the plate down on the coffee table. "Oh one more thing I should get some milk and smaller plates and napkins. Oh and I should clean the kitchen, you guys can start without me if you want."

Abby yawned and put her feet up on the couch. She didn't take up much space and there wasn't anything for her to do but sit back and relax. Her homework was already done for the whole next week and her research project could wait, even though it wasn't due for another two weeks. She did have a few knitting projects she wanted to get done while she could still use scarves and blankets though, so Abby brought along her needles and yarn.

She smiled when everyone made their way to the couch to watch the movie and do girly things. Abby wasn't particularly fond of painting her nails, though perhaps she'd cave just to prove to everyone that she wasn't some butch tomboy. The prospects didn't look promising though. "No cleaning," Abby ordered Mandy as she grabbed a sugar cookie from the plate she just put down. "Come on, it's movie time!"

Surprisingly things seemed to be going her way tonight. Things at the theater were slow to the point that they'd closed almost all the ticket lines except one. And even with the fits and spurts of people coming in it was clear that they didn't need six people at the concession stand. So her boss pulled her and another employee aside and said that they were free to take off early for the night.

Jenna didn't need further encouragement. Clocking out and getting her purse and coat from the back Jenna was out of the theater in record time. If she hit the lights right she'd be only be about five minutes late. All things considered that wasn't too bad, especially seeing as she didn't expect to be there until later.

She parked in one of the visitors spots once she got to the apartment building and headed up to Jack's apartment. Knocking on the door before letting herself in. "I haven't missed anything have I," she asked by way of a hello smiling at her sister, Mandy, and Grace.

Taking off her coat she hung it up in the closet with her purse and plopped down next to Grace on the couch. "Hey you, how's school?"
