Mia was not expecting visitors, so she was surprised to hear the doorbell. She was still in cheerleading practice attire (sweat pants and a tank top) as she moved downstairs and pulled open the door. Her eyes widened and darted to the package in his hands, before she could catch herself. "Tino," she blurted out, startled.
"Uh. What are you doing here?" The wind was bad enough for her to take pity on him, though, and she stepped aside to let him in. "Come on, it's freezing." Was that for her? He had said he bought her something, but they have never agreed to meet up or anything of the sort. Maybe he was bringing something to his mom from Mrs. Spinelli.
