Samuel chuckled at her remarks again. "It might make for a very disruptive school year though if the dolls start going off in the middle of one of the chemistry lectures." He smirked though and made a mental note. He'd have to run it by the Health teacher and see what they thought about the idea. It would be amusing at the very least, especially if the teachers were willing to take the project serious and mockingly kick students out of class for being disruptive with their pseudo-baby.
He shrugged at Kaylee's response. "Watching a child graduate from high school is much different than watching them graduate from college." Samuel grinned, 'She really thought this one through...' What more was he supposed to say? She wasn't doing it irrationally and she knew what she wanted. "That's all very adult-like of you, Kaylee. But don't rush to grow up. It's not always fun to be an adult and have kids. I'm not telling you what to do by any means, but it is your parents household and they should have some sort of a say in what happens with your baby, if you plan on staying there." He tried to give her an encouraging smile.
"If getting your GED instead of graduating is really what you want though, I can look into it for you. But you should really reconsider finishing high school. You've got practically an army of people on the island more than willing to help you with your baby." Samuel smirked and looked over at Kaylee. "Plus, if you can't find a babysitter while you and Johnny are in class, you could always drop her in my office for a while. I like to think I know a thing or two about kids. I did raise five."
