Samuel chuckled at Kaylee's comment. "It's not all hell - only the first few months when you don't sleep much." He winked at her, though he doubted she saw it. "I always found that to be a rather fun project though if some of your classmates are really that over-dramatic, I'll see what we can do about changing it. Perhaps we can invest in a few of those take home dolls that cry in the middle of the night and you have to feed and change them..?"
To say that Samuel was a little shocked to hear Kaylee ask about a GED was an understatement. He could understand why she wanted to just get her GED rather than finish high school, but no one had ever asked about one before. "Ah.. well, I can look into it for you. I'm sure we have something to offer, it just hasn't been offered in many years. Have you talked to your parents about wanting to get a GED instead of a diploma? I'm sure they'd much rather see you at your graduation in a cap and gown..."
