"Good afternoon, Principal Bailey." At the very least she knew who he was, but then every high schooler probably did. He was at least the last person you wanted to be caught talking back to, but even she was good enough to know better than to ever do that. Besides she was at least slightly friends with Grace. She had been working the summer at Sapphire doing classes and the like while Kaylee had been dealing with the ticket area and cleaning the toilets on a regular basis. "I hope that the rest of the Junior class hasn't tried to burn down the school while I've been gone already. Or the rest of the classes for that matter considering I already miss it." Then Johnny or Sasha was probably at her door dropping off homework that would need doing and hopefully not freaking out that no one was answering the door.
"And what brings you out into the freezing cold? I have a cell phone if your car broke down." She wouldn't put it past most of the kids around here to go zooming off if he had been trying to wave down a car to take him the rest of the way home. Admittedly she wasn't entirely sure where the Bailey house was, but it was the wrong direction to be heading toward Moses Pearson.
