Natalie understood needing a distraction. With school creeping up, Natalie was out for one of her own. Normally, that meant running, but when it was colder outside, Natalie wanted to stay in, and as she'd never been a huge fan of treadmills (something about not making any forward progress didn't sit well with her), she'd headed over to the rock gym. Being the owner's son's girlfriend had its perks, and most days Natalie got in free.
Today, she was surprised, as she slid out of her coat and tugged off the sweat pants she'd worn over her shorts, to spy Alfie sitting there. She hadn't seen the youngest Tibbits in a while, not since things had gone sour with him and Laney. Honestly, Natalie still didn't entirely understand what had happened, but she had liked Alfie... even if she knew that he'd groped an older version of her little sister.
"Alfie," she greeted with a smile, easing down into the chair next to him. "Hey. She peered over at the forms he was filling out. "Are you job hunting?"
