Jimmy nodded. He wasn't really sure what else to say to Elliot. It was kind of awkward because he knew that on New Years he'd get dragged out by all of the girls and have a good time, while Elliot was stuck at work. He didn't seem to mind it too much but Jimmy didn't want to push it any more.
"At least you won't be working there for much longer. Right?" He didn't know for sure but he assumed Elliot was going to Hobbs to get a degree in something. "When you graduate in a few years, you'll be able to get a job doing..." Jimmy paused. He didn't know what Elliot was going for so he didn't know how to finish his sentence. "...something better."
Jimmy looked away from Elliot and mentally smacked himself in face. 'I might as well just put my foot in my mouth and now.' His cheeks stayed a faint pink as he was thoroughly embarrassed with his lack of fluidity and ability to carry a decent conversation. He didn't know why he was so damn nervous and could barely form a charming sentence. Perhaps it had to do with the fact that he couldn't forget how he had jumped Elliot's bones not too long ago.
