Elliot sincerely hoped he wasn't blushing, but he had his doubts as Jimmy brought up the entire... towel debacle. For one thing, it brought back the memory of how enjoyable it had been, and for another, Elliot was a little embarrassed by how he'd handled the entire situation by making Jimmy pounce him on three different occasions. Luckily, Jimmy seemed to have gotten over it enough to joke about it, which he was glad for. "You have no idea," he admitted softly, letting out a quiet chuckle. "Before I figured it out- thanks to you, actually- there were... old ladies." The admission of which required a finishing of his drink. He moved to order another, then hesitated. Even if it wasn't a date, he could still buy him a drink.
"Another gin and tonic, please. And another of whatever he'd like. You can open a tab for me." He handed over his card, and then shifted his focus back to Jimmy. He'd bought a guy a drink. He, Elliot Fisher, had bought someone a drink. He was getting better at this.
Elliot shook his head at the notion of doing something exciting. It wasn't exactly his style to make big plans. "I'm working mostly," he confessed with another soft laugh. "Even on New Year's. I guess I kinda need the money, though. I'm sure you're doing something much more exciting."
