Jimmy sighed as he looked at himself in the rear view mirror of his car. He was nervous. "It's not a date," he repeatedly whispered to himself as he stared at his reflection in the mirror. He didn't know why he was so nervous to go for a drink with Elliot if he was just a friend. Jimmy hadn't been awkwardly nervous around Tristan and they hung out as friends. So why was Elliot any different?
Sighing again at how irrational he was being, Jimmy got out of the car and took one last good look at his faint reflection in the window of his car. For a minute he played with his tie and tried to fix it. "Stupid tie," he muttered as he yanked it off and tossed it back into the car. Going into the bar, Jimmy shoved his keys into his coat and made his way to the bar. He leaned against the end of the bar casually as he put up one finger and nodded to the bartender. He frequented enough for the bar keep to know what he liked - a nice glass of whiskey.
As he waited for his drink, Jimmy unbuttoned the top two buttons on his shirt. The barkeep slid the drink to Jimmy while he scanned the bar for Elliot. When he saw Elliot walk in, he smiled a little and motioned for him to come over, holding up his glass and nodding once as a way of saying 'Hi' from a distance
