It was sad that Ethan couldn't really remember when was the last time he had seen his sister. He figured it must have been during Thanksgiving, but he wasn't sure if he'd seen or spoken to her afterward. The Christmas season had his mind all boggled, as it usually tended to do, and Ethan had been so busy prepping the Christmas show for his television program. Now that it was finally written, he could breathe a little easier. The acting portion of it was hard work, but it was nothing compared to having to write out an entire episode on a deadline. And that needed to be approved by the producers, editors, the management and blah blah blah.
Setting out to buy presents for his family, Ethan decided to stop by and see his sister at work. He hadn't visited the college in a while and was curious as to what had changed since his last visit. He found it to be a rather different place, though he couldn't actually point out what he felt was different about it. At least he knew where his sister's office was. That never seemed to change, unless they were hiring new staff, which was rare. Ethan parked his car and walked through the maze of corridors that was Hobbs to get to Danielle's office. He was sure she was there, as she likely had a pile of papers to grade for the end of the semester. He had little intention of disturbing her. He was just really excited about giving her the Christmas gift he'd gotten her.
"Yooohoo!" he said, tapping on her door with his knuckle. "Special deliveryyyyy!"
