Who: Macy and Noah What: awkwardness (and making sets!) Where: Macy's house When: the weekend, probably Saturday Rated: TBD
Macy laid out all the materials they'd need on the floor. For now, she only had paper, pencils, erasers, rulers and other such items. The wood and paint would come later. They had to sketch out the schematics first, as Macy always liked to do things nice and calculated. She wasn't one to really spontaneously just start painting and have it "come to her". Her classmates were like that. She was not. It wasn't anything against them. Not at all. They just thought differently. Macy understood that.
Her parents weren't home. They hardly ever were on weekends, which might have seemed unusual but it was just how it had always been. It didn't even phase the girl anymore. Hardly anything did, really. Except maybe Noah. And only on the slight occasion. She never showed it though. Macy had the poker face of a champ, and usually the attitude to go with it. Though, she rarely had reason to use it. And really didn't see reason to now. Sure, her and Noah had their ups and downs, but they were mature adults, right? They could manage to get along and talk and be friends, couldn't they? Macy sure had no problem. And she assumed Noah didn't either.
Speaking of, she was lost deep in thought over how tall the sets might be, when she heard a knock. Standing, she brushed herself off and headed to the door. It took her a second to open the door, possibly mentally preparing herself for seeing him. They hadn't talked in a while, though not on Macy's part. She'd had a sneaking suspicion that she was being avoided, but she was never one to assume anything. Especially negative anythings.
"Hello," she said, giving a large smile when she finally pulled open the door. "Come on in."
