Who: Toni Spinelli and Alan Dale
What: Just an afternoon out and about
Where: Silver Shores Beach
When: Saturday
Rating: PG-13 with possibilities of rising
Life was weird around here. Really without the idea of the weird stuff that people might seem like they could do around here because that was something that Toni ignored. Everything was complicated enough in life without including the idea that earlier this year he had about knocked the entire Spinelli house into the stone age if he hadn't gotten out of there. He had fixed it after things calmed down, but if he was actually communicating with his computer then it only seemed like a reasonable amount of time before he ended up flirting with it. There were some lines that even he did not want to end up crossing. No, instead somehow a birthday party almost a year ago had turned into some weird friendship thing with Emily Elwood. Then she had also tried to jump him and was now looking for an occasional white knight to make sure she didn't get harassed. He hadn't spent too much time deciding if it was because he sort of cared for the kid like another one of his siblings or just wanted the excuse to punch someone out if Kevin came around. The latter however was more pleasing for now to think on. He would have done the same for Jacen any day of the week except Jacen probably wouldn't make him feel like the big tough protective male though. That would just be creepy.
And then there was inviting Alan out for an afternoon where they didn't talk about school if possible nor work. Toni just wanted some time with his best friend while getting a little bit of work done with his camera. Of course a certain someone probably figured he was going to go telling Alan all about her plans. Honestly, they had other things that they could talk about that didn't involve something that was likely not going to happen anyhow. He focused out on the lake for any signs of possible freezing. His own butt would about have been frozen if he wasn't already used to this. The weather was going to get better before it got worse... At least as long as you didn't ask Alan. "The sky is clear without a cloud in sight, how is it going to end up snowing within the next hour?" really, he just didn't want to have to go in which would probably take them to the diner. Not that the diner was horrible, just far more likely to have people there...
