[This is perfect! Thank you. <3]
Alfie didn't see the appeal of packing. It was boring and tedious work, but he knew that it had to get done. Rarely did anyone around the island have to pack like this for days, unless they were going camping or something. Even then, they didn't use suitcases like these. While this type of packing was new to Alfie, it wasn't nearly as exciting as what they could have been spending their time doing. Once it was over though, he sighed and laid down beside her on the bed.
"Yeah, she's mad," he said with a shrug. "She wants to take away my Xbox, which really blows or whatever." Alfie shook his head. Sure, without the Xbox, he'd probably have more time for homework and sleeping. But without the Xbox, Alfie was a dull boy. "I don't think she'll take away my phone. I need it in school just in case, you know, the world explodes and she needs to call me or something." Or, at least Alfie would make a better case if she did happen to threaten to take away his phone.
"Sucks that you have to go see a dead person that you don't even know," he said, finger absently tracing patterns across her stomach.
