WHO: Jenna and Bobby. WHAT: Vegging, and pampering. WHEN: Sometime after this. WHERE: Jenna's house. RATING: Tame-ish?
Despite Bobby's assurances that she shouldn't be concerned, Jenna was a little. Her cousin was stressed out and that tended to bother her anyway. Couple it with Bobby having something to tell her and well Jenna had this little feeling that she was about to have a moment of deja vu only this one wouldn't include cell phones and text messages. That could either be a blessing or a curse at this point, she wouldn't be able to say for sure until Bobby shared whatever it was.
All the same she was happy she was getting to spend time with her cousin. It seemed that they didn't see each other that much recently. Granted there was some tension at least on Jenna's part between them in the last few weeks but Bobby was still pretty much her best friend and she was determined to help her relax.
The living room had been rearranged a little so as to keep any pampering accidents to a minimum. She'd borrowed her mom's paraffin wax treatment for tonight and the wax was melting as she finished putting things out. There was nail polish out on the coffee table along with a partial facial mix (she just needed the yogurt Bobby was bringing), a stack of movies on the entertainment center and popcorn in the popper.
Not too shabby she had to admit considering she didn't give herself much time to pull it all together. Still there was something missing the more she thought about it. She couldn't quite put her finger on it. She had everything to do the few pampering things so why did she feel like there was something missing? Then it dawned on her cucumber and she laughed and decided to wait for Bobby before slicing one. Wasn't much point if they were going to watch a movie while their faces were slathered in a mix of yogurt and honey.
