“Yes forgive you for whatever insane reason that I don’t understand.” At the mention of being very similar to Bobby she snapped. “We’re not as alike as you think. She would have left a long time ago if you were having this argument with her and you know that. It wasn’t like the two of you really got along well.” Yeah she knew they’d been faking it, she hoped that eventually they might grow to really get along but apparently if he thought she was just like her cousin that was never going to happen.
She was ready to leave. This was going nowhere and she had Trig homework that she still hadn’t finished that would benefit from her getting back to it. She sighed and shook her head. She was still mad at him but she didn’t want to fight either. She didn’t want to hate him or have him hate her and the longer she stood there the more she thought that would be the inevitable outcome. “No we weren’t, but it isn’t like we can pick up where we left off Chris. Friends would be the next best thing.”
