Who: Mia and Sam What: Someone has some 'splaining to do. When: After classes, backdated to right after the Tino incident Where: Bleachers Rating: PG-13?
Mia was not looking forward to this conversation. For one, she knew she was completely in the wrong. That was an unusual feeling for her as most of her fights with boyfriend-types were blamed on the boy or at least could partly be blamed on the boy. This was largely because Mia had completely awful taste in boys, but Sam didn't fall into her usual douchebag category, which made things all the more confusing. And awful. And guilt-ridden.
She had kissed Tino. Well, more than kissed Tino. It would have been bad enough kissing someone, but him? Her ex-boyfriend who she had a very confusing and largely antagonistic relationship with at present? Tino who, of course, would rub what had happened in Sam's face before she got the chance to talk to him (and she was doing her best to convince herself that she had planned to tell him eventually) about what had happened.
What was most upsetting, though, was that she had no idea why she had done it. It had been the strangest damn thing. One minute he was insignificant, the next, he was like a freaking magnet, and she couldn't stay away. She couldn't keep her stupid, greedy hands off of him, and now? Now she couldn't understand where the feelings had come from. Or maybe she could, just not the intensity of them. She supposed it wasn't technically cheating since they weren't officially dating, but she knew it was wrong, and that was picking away at her as she stared down at the field from the bleachers she'd agreed to meet him at. She glanced at her phone and frowned slightly. Was he going to even show up? She supposed she couldn't blame him if he bailed.
