Seth's smirk grew when she paused for a moment before joining him on the blanket. He knew how to set the mood and he knew how to do it well. Girls couldn't resist the beach and a picnic. It would have been even better had it been at sunset, but moonlight was good too.
He had started pulling out the containers of food when she asked her question, "Well, I do have a reputation to uphold and I didn't want you going around saying that Seth Enders was nothing but a drunk slob." Seth gave her a wink, "No, but it is my way of apologizing and also...you intrigued me...I haven't met many girls like you. I wanted to see more than I did before everything went black." He held out one of the containers to her, "It's chicken alfredo, hope that's cool with you. I'm Italian so I love me some pasta."
